Stephanie Cheney is the Manager of Teaching + Learning Services within Academic Technology at the University of New Hampshire. The T+L Services group includes the Instructional Development Center, Media + Collaboration, and Documentation + Training departments.  Through varied support models, the team works with faculty to help them effectively integrate technology into curriculum to meet course goals.

Stephanie’s partnership with New England K20 educators to design and implement technology-rich curriculum over the last 10 years has earned her national recognition as an Apple Distinguished Educator.  She has proven successes developing innovative training programs and elearning initiatives, building productive collaborative relationships across organizations, and building full-circle evaluation tools which measure learning effectiveness.  She has delivered engaging presentations at state, regional, and national conferences including Association of Supervision and Curriculum National Conference and the National Educational Computing Conference. Additionally, she has experience developing competency models, which drive learning outcomes.  Stephanie’s research interests include Web 2.0 tools to meet the needs of the 21st Century workforce, elearning program development, curriculum design, and using learning technologies to improve the educational experience.

Outside of work Stephanie enjoys working in her garden (the tomatoes were fantastic this year), traveling, snowboarding, and working on her golf game.
